Amanda is a native of Marblehead, OH. She graduated from Danbury, which she attended from K-12 grade, participated in religious education throughout her elementary and high school years, and has been a member of the choir at St. Joseph, as both a child and adult, for many years. Upon graduation, she moved to Columbus, OH to attend The Ohio State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Professions in the branch of respiratory therapy, and has worked full time at the Cleveland Clinic for the multiple years. Amanda later attended graduate school and obtained a Master of Occupational Therapy.
She was brought back to Marblehead as she finished up her degree and began to volunteer as a catechist in the 5th and 6th grade. She then led the 7th and 8th grade students through their Confirmation and began to participate more within the religious education program, as well as throughout the church.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially going on trips with her sister, volunteering within the community, such as at Pathway Inclusion Center and Bistro 163, and visiting with her friends and godchildren. She has a strong passion for educating the youth of the parish about Jesus and helping to guide them, along with all parish members, on their faith journey.
